Storm fall big to Hurricanes

The Island Storm fell to the Halifax Hurricanes 122-92 on Saturday night.

Joel Friesen led the way for Halifax with 24 points and 12 rebounds for the Hurricanes.

In the loss Brent Jennings provided most of the spark for the Storm. Contributing 18 points and four rebounds.

Halifax was able to establish its game in the paint and right from the start that was where they wanted to go to work. It became much easier for the outside shooters to hit shots with the Storm having to respect the inside game.

Halifax improves to 26-9, while the Storm fall to 13-24 with the loss tonight. They head to Saint John to take on the Mill Rats tomorrow afternoon. With tip off at Harbour Station set for 4pm.
