Island Storm invites all Charlottetown city employees to game

Released: January 12, 2016

As part of the Island Storm’s community outreach, we want to reward the great employees who work for the city of Charlottetown and its many departments.

All city employees who show their ID card or another type of document proving related employment will receive one free adult bowl ticket to our game this Friday, January 15, at 7 p.m. against the Windsor Express.

“This is the first of our appreciation games this season and I couldn’t think of a better way to start than with the great employees of the city of Charlottetown,” said Storm owner Duncan Shaw.

“The staff with the city do so much, from balancing budgets to keeping our streets tidy.”

The city has employees working in administration, economic development, sustainability, event attraction, finance, fire, human resources, parks and recreation, planning and heritage, police, public works and urban beautification, tourism, communications and water and sewer.  Anyone who falls under the umbrella of the city corporation will be entitled to the free ticket.

To pick up your complimentary ticket simply go to the Eastlink Centre box office with your city ID. If you’d like to purchase tickets for family and friends you can ask the box office to have all of the seats together.
