The Storm defeated the Mill Rats 108-88 in dominant fashion, putting them back on track following their rough road trip.
The Storm had seven players in double figures, led by Terry Thomas’ 21 points on 8-13 shooting. Nick Evans also added 16 points and 18 rebounds and was named the player of the game.
The Storm played with a sense of urgency early and it reflected on the scoreboard, going up 14-0 to open the game.
They busted the game wide open in the second quarter and never looked back, going into halftime with a 58-33 lead.
The Mill Rats played a solid third quarter and in the fourth quarter, had the lead down to as little as 12, but the Storm responded in stride and finished the game strong.
The Storm are back on the hardwood for back-to-back games next weekend when they take on the Windsor Express on Friday night and the Niagara River Lions on Saturday.
